A Fun Halloween Party!!

Hi every one! This is my Halloween story for the Creative Crafting Challenge, "Costumes and Fancy Dress". Although writing a very long story was just too much after a quite tiring night of trick-or-treating in the real world, (hehe) this story--short and sweet--will only have pictures with captions under. Hope you like it!

Georgina greeting a friendly neighbour at the door.

"Trick-Or-Treat!"

Silly little Daisy dressed up as flower (like her name, and this one looks a bit like the colour of a Gerbera Daisy!) She gets to stay up late because of curiosity for Halloween.

Oh dear! What a big mess Daisy has made!

On the other side of town, Millie (dressed up as a pirate!) and Theodore are enjoyed collecting candy from friendly neighbours. "Trick-Or-Treat!" says Millie.

"Here you go, Dearie. A little lollipop for you! Have a happy Halloween!"

At the Caramel Cat's house, little sister Peach is having a fun time decorating cute paper pumpkins with her Mummy, while Skye, the youngest, has a nap.

Chris (super-hero) and Camryn (Rapunzel) are going trick-or-treating with their dad, too.

They are going to meet up with Millie and Theodore, and after, the whole bunch are coming for a Halloween party at Camryn's house!!

The girls are so happy to see each other again! They are really good friends.

The fathers are busy chatting away... a short, simple and sweet discussion about how great it is to be a parent, and all of the ups-and-downs it brings!

Little Peach is having a potty break! It's a good thing they have the wall there, leading to the small but very cozy bathroom, under the stairs on the first floor. "Privacy, please!"

Taking Camryn Rapunzel wig off is surprisingly hard, but her mother manages to do it, finally, so the girls can play. Don't worry about Chris and if he's going to get a playmate, as he is very flexible and doesn't mind spending time by himself, either.

(Of course girls aren't that bad... unless they peek into your room while you're trying to study!)

That's Camryn favourite prank to pull on her brother! And their favourite game, too: Staring contest.

"Don't annoy him!" cautions Millie. "Although, he's not my brother, so do whatever you want!"

I'm sure that, whatever they are up to, Millie and her friends will have lots of spooky, silly fun! Here are some extra pics of the house and door and costumes.

Left to right: Peach (butterfly, wings and pipe-cleaner antenna), Chris (superhero, cape and mask made from felt), Daisy and Millie (flower and pirate, costumes also made of felt, Millie's skull-and-crossbones on her hat are a sticker from an old, never used Halloween Sticker Pack), Camryn (Rapunzel, dress from Sylvanian Families and hair from string), and Skye (fair maiden, hat made from felt with ribbon attached with a hot glue-gun)

And, lastly, the front door of Camryn's house:

Hope you liked my story! I had lots of fun setting things up and taking the pictures!

That's all for now!
Bye-bye!

  3. Super cute costumes, Emilie! I especially love Skye's 'fair maiden' outfit! So cute! Also, Daisy's flower hat is adorable!
It was also nice to look around the Caramel's house. Haha, it sounds like Camryn and Chris share a typical sibling relationship! It sounds like the sort of thing I would do to my big brother!
    Have a good weekend!

    1. Hi Kelsie! Thanks for commenting. Everybody seems to love Skye and Daisy's costumes, and so do I. I'm really glad you liked my story, and the Caramel's are happy to hear you enjoyed the quick look around their house. Yes, Chris and Camryn do argue sometimes for, as you mentioned, it's normal sibling behaviour. (hehe)
      Have a good weekend, too!

  4. Wonderful costumes Emilie! I love the flower costume in particular, little Daisy looks so adorable! I made a flower costume too a few years back, but mine looked very creepy as I made a flower mask and the eye holes sort of didn't match up. Yours looks much better! The Caramel's have an amazing house, thank you for the tour!

    1. Hi Emily! (that sounds kind of funny to write, because my name is Emilie, and that sounds the same as yours! :D) Thank you for your kind words about my story! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it. If Daisy could understand sentences (which I'm sure she does, already!) she would be over the moon right now, since you showered her and her costume with compliments! Sorry to hear that your old flower costume didn't really work out, but there's always time to try again! I'm really looking forward to having another blog to follow and read posts from! It's so great that you started blogging again! The Caramel's are glad you like their house. They are welcome for the tour.

      Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Jackson, thanks for commenting. I agree, Daisy and Peach have cute costumes, don't they? If you are interested in the Critter Crunch chip bags and other printables similar to that, feel free to check out the topic "Homemade Sylvanian Printables" on the SF Collectors Club forum. I will update it as soon as I can so it includes the Critter Crunch template.

Happy November to you, too! Hope you have a great week!

  6. Hi Emilie!

What a great Halloween story! Sounds like everyone had a great time. You made a lot of wonderful costumes! Love the pirate one, and Rapunzel's beautiful long hair. :) The babies are just the cutest, too!
Loved the Halloween crafting on the dining room table at the Caramel's home. And we even had a little house tour! Everything looks great!

    Have a great week!

    1. Hi Ayrell!
Thanks for you for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The sylvanians living in Huckleberry Springs all had a wonderful Halloween, but it's too bad when I went out to trick or treat, it was raining where I live! So we only went to a few houses. Anyway, thanks again for your lovely comment. Hope you have a great week, too! Happy Monday!
      Best wishes,
